Korte introductie
Drs. H. Arnts is arts in opleiding tot neurochirurg in het AMC sinds 2016. Hij studeerde geneeskunde aan de Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen, waar hij in 2015 zijn opleiding voltooide. Naast zijn opleiding tot neurochirurg doet hij onderzoek naar de waarde van diepe hersenstimulatie (DBS) bij patiënten met een chronische verstoring van het bewustzijn. Naam van zijn PhD-project is: ‘Deep brain stimulation in chronic disorders of consciousness’. Hij wordt hierin begeleid door prof. dr. Schuurman en dr. van den Munckhof.
